Cherokee Homestead Mural Description

    The Cherokee Homestead Exhibit mural illustrates elements of Cherokee culture and provides a background for the structures at the Cherokee Homestead Exhibit. Informational kiosks enable visitors to conduct a self-guided tour. The exhibit is one of five locations along the 2-mile Quanassee Path: A Cherokee History Trail in downtown Hayesville. Artists for the mural and accompanying metal sculptures: Barbara Bussolari, Suzi Hall, Joe Miller and Ella Sheuer. (mural address: 805 US Hwy 64 Business)



Mountain Valley Park Mural Mention


Mural Mention Description

    The Mountain Valley Park mural provides a background and focal point for this beautiful and restful pocket park created by the Clay County Master Gardener Volunteer Association. The mural was designed by Hayesville High School art students Brittany Bower, Brook Muzik and Josh Winkler under the direction of art teacher Natalie Manget. (address: 33 Main Street which is three blocks from the Cherokee Homestead Exhibit)
